Micro-needling with Radio-frequency (RF) is a non-surgical treatment that can significantly reduce scarring, and improve sun damaged crepey skin and pigmentation.
RF Micro needling uses fine needles to create micro-wounds in the skin. This creates small channels that allows immediate absorption of specific serums including hyaluronic acids, growth factors and vitamins.
The micro-wounds also trigger the production of collagen and elastin which happens gradually and continually. When combined with radio frequency the needle delivers heat resulting in a deeper healing process that will regenerate thicker and smoother skin.

There may be some discomfort during treatment. Local anaesthetic numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment and paracetamol can also be taken. There may be some redness and swelling similar to sunburn that can last up to 24 hours.

Not all micro needling devices are the same. Small hand held devices available online will never deliver what a professional programmable device with radio frequency can.
The type and quality of serums used will also affect results. Your treatment will be bespoke and discussed in depth at consultation. For optimal results a course of at least 3 is recommended. Appointment time is 60 minutes.
